The Youth Athletic Development Foundation (YADF) basketball league is for grades K-5th. This is a RECREATION league meant to provide a fun atmosphere to learn the basics of the game.  Non-Certified officials are used to officiate games.

Expected Divisions:

Kinder/1st (3v3 COED)

2nd/3rd (5v5 Boys/Girls)

4th/5th (5v5 Boys/Girls)

The Ottawa County Youth Basketball league is a recreational youth sports league with a goal of teaching kids how to play basketball. This is NOT a competitive league. We ask that parents, coaches and players play in a respectful and learning focused way throughout the season. The league understands that using the random team allocation process may cause some teams to be significantly better than others. This is a great life lesson to use when teaching our kids about the real world and the challenges many adults face daily.

*New this season Coach Baxter (Women's HC) and Coach Sooter (Men's HC) are going to implement a group skills training session for their respective groups. These sessions are included as part of your players registration. It is expected that all registering players take the opportunity to attend each session (dates above).
